Value of damage “yet to be determined”
George Michael’s musical equipment was destroyed in a fire on New Year’s Eve.
The incident happened after Michael was performing for Russian billionaire Vladimir Potanin.
In a statement, his publicist said that the value of the damage to his possessions had yet to be determined.
She said: “There was a small fire after (Michael) had left the venue, but damage to his equipment has yet to be assessed.”
As previously reported, the singer received £1.5 million to play the show, where he performed to 300 guests at a private show.
According to The Sun, amongst the equipment destroyed was a 42-inch plasma screen and a host of musical instruments.
