Former Wham! singer is not in court

George Michael has pleaded not guilty to a charge of being unfit to drive.

Michael was not present but his lawyer entered the plea at Brent Magistrates’ court in north west London today (January 10).

As previously reported, Michael was arrested last October on suspicion of being unfit to drive and possessing drugs. He was later cautioned for possessing cannabis.

A further hearing will take place on March 7 to hear legal arguments, BBC NEWS reports.
