George Michael's boyfriend has revealed that the singer will be home for Christmas following his recent battle with pneumonia.
The singer has been holed up in an Austrian hospital ever since he was diagnosed last month. It was initially thought that although Michael's condition was improving, he was unlikely to be out of hospital in time for Christmas.
Now his partner, Fadi Fawaz, claims that his condition has improved and he will be back for the festive season, reports WENN.comk.
He said:
Christmas at home. I cannot stop smiling today, the best day ever. Nothing to worry about, happy days.
A spokesperson for the singer also added: "He is getting better and better."
Michael has been receiving round-the-clock care at Austria's AKH General Hospital in Vienna. The illness forced him to shelve all of his tour dates for 2011 and reschedule them for next year.
He was forced to cancel gigs at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena as part of his Symphonica jaunt, and also pulled a concert at London's Royal Albert Hall.
