Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly help launch NME Yearbook

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly put in a surprise appearance at NME's 2006 Yearbook launch party last night (November 7).

The Emo folk act performed a 50 minute gig at London's Cafe De Paris club for an audience of competition winners.

Despite a suffering a slight technical hitch midway through, Sam Duckworth and co rolled through a series of tracks from debut album 'Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager'.

Before he launched into 'Glass Houses', Duckworth also made an appeal against the British National Party, telling the audience: "We are against racism and the BNP. This organisation will continue to grow until we stamp it out so we need to do something about it."

Simian Mobile Disco later entertained the crowd with a DJ set which featured James Ford's own remix of Klaxons single 'MagicK' and The Gossip's 'Standing In The Way Of Control'.

A further set also came from Club NME DJs as guests partied into the night.
