Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly reveals new album details
Sam Duckworth tackles weighty themes once again
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly is set to enter a UK studio next week to record the follow-up to last year's debut album, 'The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager'.
The new album will be titled 'Searching For The Hows And Whys', and is tentatively slated for an autumn release.
"We're in the process of finalising 12 to 14 demos," Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly mastermind Sam Duckworth told NME.COM.
"It addresses similar themes to 'The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager'," he explained. "It says I don't have the answers but it's still important to ask the questions.
"It might take a thousand questions to get the answers, but if we don't at least ask the questions, it's easy to get complacent," he said.
Duckworth said he hopes to release his sophomore album in the UK and the US nearly simultaneously, rather than seven months apart as was the case with his last album.
'The Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager' comes out today (April 3) in the US, and was released in the UK last September.
"I'd like as many people as possible to hear it," he said. "We're gonna do a lot of things on the internet too - send fans new videos and music so I can share with people what's going on."
