More acts announced for Astoria's 'demolition ball'

Astoria headliners young and old sign up to play the venue's final gig

More acts have been added to the bill for iconic London venue the Astoria's final show, which takes place tomorrow (January 14).

Last week, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly's Sam Duckworth announced he was curating a 'Demolition Ball' to take place at the venue, which is being closed to make way for London's Crossrail project.

Duckworth has now announced the full line-up for the event, which is as follows:

Conrad and Jason (…And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead)
Paul Draper (Mansun)
Mark Greaney (JJ72)
Drew McConnell
The Automatic
My Vitriol
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly (band show)
Frank Turner
The King Blues
VV Brown

Speaking to NME.COM about the show, Sol Wardner from My Vitriol said the band would be lending And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead their instruments for the gig - only on the condition they don't trash them.

The gig is also set to raise money for a range of charities including Love Music Hate Racism, Billy Bragg's Jail Guitar Doors and Shelter.
