Giorgio Moroder will support Kylie Minogue on her forthcoming tour of Australia.

The disco producer will open for Minogue, playing a DJ set at each gig as the Kiss Me Once tour reaches her home country. Billboard reports that Minogue describes Moroder as a "perfect partner in crime".

In November, Moroder announced details of new solo album, '74 Is The New 24'. The record will feature a series of guest stars, including Charli XCX, Sia, Britney Spears, Mikky Ekko, Foxes and Kylie.

Moroder, who appeared on Daft Punk's 'Random Access Memories' in 2013, will release his first solo album in 30 years 'in spring 2015.

"Dance music doesn’t care where you live," Moroder says in a press release. "It doesn’t care who your friends are. It doesn’t care how much money you make. It doesn't care if [you are] 74 or if you are 24 because… 74 is the new 24!"
