Girls Aloud say they want to play Jade Goody's wedding
Band say they're trying to free up their schedule now
Girls Aloud have revealed that they are attempting to free up their schedule to be able to perform at the wedding of Jade Goody and Jack Tweed on Sunday (February 22).
Reality TV star Goody is suffering from cancer, with doctors saying that she has months to live.
Speaking last night (February 18) at the BRIT Awards to the Daily Star, band member Sarah Harding said that they were doing everything they could to try and perform for her.
"We have had contact from Jade's people about performing at her wedding," she said. "It's now in the hands of our management. We are desperately trying to re-arrange our schedule so we can do it. It's a very sad thing to have to discuss."
Girls Aloud won the Best British Single award at the BRIT Awards for 'The Promise'.
