Girls Aloud to release Children In Need comeback single?
Girls Aloud will make their comeback by releasing this year's Children In Need single, according to reports.

The pop group released their last studio album 'Out Of Control' in 2008, but earlier this year (March 4) singer Nadine Coyle confirmed that the band would reform for an arena tour in 2013 to celebrate their 10-year anniversary and also hinted that they could release new material in the future.

According to The Sun, a source close to the band claimed they were offered the opportunity of recording the charity track during a low-profile meeting last month.

They said:

The plan is to release it in November. It is looking like it will be an original song. Bosses think it will be the perfect comeback hit as well as helping a good cause.

Girls Aloud have previous links with Children In Need, having released a cover version of The Pretenders' 'I'll Stand By You' as the charity's official single in 2004. The group originally formed on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 and went on to have major chart success before going on hiatus in July 2009, to allow band members Cheryl Cole, Kimberly Walsh, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding to pursue other projects.
