Pre-sale registration introduced for Glastonbury 2007 tickets

Eavis aims to Stamp Out The Touts at this year's bash

Glastonbury
Glastonbury Festival is introducing new measures to combat ticket touting.

Before any tickets can be bought, potential festival-goers must register their details with organisers ahead of the ticket on sale date of April 1.

A passport-sized photo must also be submitted, which will then be printed on the ticket to prevent touting.

Writing on the festival’s website, Michael Eavis said: “It’s a much fairer system. The people who buy the tickets on April 1 will be the people who are actually coming to the festival.”

Registration must take place between February 1 and February 28, either online or by post.

For more information on pre-sale registration, go to the Glastonbury Festival’s website.
