Mr Hudson & The Library reveal they are Glastonbury virgins

Mr Hudson and The Library revealed they are Glastonbury virgins during their set which opened proceedings on Other Stage this morning (June 22).

The blue-eyed soul band also thanked the audience for coming to see them despite the weather.

Hudson said: “We’re all Glastonbury virgins. And we thought you’d all scarper after the heavens opened. So thanks for sticking out despite the rain.”

The singer also changed various lyrics of the songs to fit the festival.

On ’Blood + Roses’ he sang: “Why don’t I fall out my tent and into a Portaloo?”

He then altered the lyrics of ’A Tale Of Two Cities’ to “Two lovers slip through the mud of Glastonbury".

He introduced ’One Specific Thing’ with “This one’s for all the Northerners.”

Mr Hudson and The Library played:

‘Bread + Roses’
‘A Tale Of Two Cities’
‘2x2’
‘Upon The Heath’
‘One Specific Thing’
‘Ask The DJ’
