Dizzee Rascal has spoken to NME.COM following his collaboration with Arctic Monkeys at Glastonbury last night (June 22).

The singer joined the band midway through their Pyramid Stage set to rap on ’Temptation Greets You Like A Naughty Friend’, the ’Brianstorm’ B-side he appeared on earlier this year.

Speaking to us, the rapper explained it was not only the first time the band had played the track live, it was the first time ever they had performed the song together after it was put together separately in the studio.

“It was the first time we’ve done it live, we didn’t rehearse, we just went on and did it. We’d never performed it before that moment,” explained Dizzee Rascal. “It’s musical genius, man! They did what they do, I do what I do, but when we work together it’s basically a beautiful picture.”
