Festival chief Michael Eavis turns up to watch
Creedence Clearwater Revival legend John Fogerty played a greatest hits set tonight (June 23) before a packed Jazz World Stage crowd that included organiser Michael Eavis.
It was only the star's second show in the UK since 1972.
Eavis had already told NME.COM before the festival that he had moved '60s legend Fogerty from headliner to second-to-last on the bill so he could go and see both him and The Killers headline the Pyramid Stage later.
Fogerty certainly delighted the festival chief, rolling out a set of Creedence Clearwater Revival classics, including 'Bad Moon Rising', 'Up Around The Bend', 'Who'll Stop The Rain' and 'Have You Ever Seen The Rain?', which provided one of the singalongs of the weeekend.
He also played an extended cover of Marvin Gaye's 'I Heard It Through The Grapevine' and closed with 'Rockin' All Over The World', his song which was made famous in the UK by Status Quo.
