The Rumble Strips play a jubilant set at Glastonbury

Crowd go wild for Charlie and co on John Peel Stage

The Rumble Strips played a jubilant set today (June 24) at Glastonbury 2007.

The band, who were augmented by a second guitarist, got the crowd doing mass clap-a-longs to their tracks 'Alarm Clock' and 'Motorcycle' on the John Peel Stage.

With a tent that was bursting to capacity for the former Topman NME New Music Tour headliners, and the crowd screaming: "We love you!" at singer Charlie Waller, they played a energetic set, inspired by the tremendous audience.

During their blue-eyed soul performance, members took turns in frantically banging the bass drum throughout the set.
