Glastonbury festival ticket registration deadline extended

Fans now have until the middle of March to log on
The date by which fans wishing to buy tickets to this year’s Glastonbury festival have to register by has been extended to March 14.
Ticket hopefuls need to head to the official Glastonbury website from February 1 to March 14 to pre-register to be in with a chance of bagging tickets to the festival, which go on sale at 9am (GMT) on April 6.
The festival will take place between June 27 and 29.
Headliners are yet to be confirmed, but so far Kanye West, Jay-Z, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, and The Verve are rumoured to be among the contenders.
The Shockwaves NME Awards 2008 are coming soon – and it’s time to have your say. Vote now by heading to NME.COM/awardsvote and you could win VIP tickets to the ceremony, which takes place in London on February 28.
