Fatboy Slim joins Glastonbury 2008 line-up
Norman Cook confirms himself for festival
Fatboy Slim has revealed he is to play Glastonbury this year on the Friday night (June 27), with more dates hinted at.
Norman Cook told BBC 6Music at the 02 Wireless launch, where he was revealed as a headline act on July 5, that he would be playing the legendary festival for the eighth year running too.
He said: “Oh yeah, I’m doing it again this year in some guise. I think I’m actually official this year, last year I wasn’t actually on the bill, but I still managed to play three times.”
Last year, the DJ played as part of the Africa Express on the Parks Stage and in 2005 played on the Other Stage.
Glastonbury takes place between June 27 and 29, and is headlined by Kings Of Leon, Jay-Z and The Verve.
The Shockwaves NME Awards 2008 are coming soon – and it’s time to have your say. Vote now by heading to NME.COM/awardsvote and you could win VIP tickets to the ceremony, which takes place in London on February 28.
