Glastonbury to launch new 'upside down' club

Glastonbury are set to launch a new 'upside down' club - called 'The House'.

The venue will be in the Shangri-La field and run from 6am to 6pm every day of the festival.

From the outside 'The House' looks like an ordinary house with a front garden, picket fence and hanging baskets, but inside there is an upside down lounge room, floating 3D imagery and upside down video projections.

'The House' is a brainchild of DJ and Tilted Disco founder Steve Strawberry.

DJs playing will include Fabrice Lig, Paula Coughlan, Steve Strawberry and Dan Tait, who will perform a live AV set.

Meanwhile organisers have confirmed that Martina Topley Bird has joined the bill and will play the Sunday morning (June 29) of the event.
