Michael Eavis: 'There's still more work to do' on Blur Glastonbury slot
Worthy Farm man reveals more details at the Shockwaves NME Awards
Michael Eavis has hinted that Blur will play this year's Glastonbury festival - but he says he cannot confirm them yet.
Speaking at last night's Shockwaves NME Awards in London, Eavis told BBC 6music that fans could expect something special at the festival.
"Yeah you can look forward to that, yeah," said Eavis, when asked if Blur would play the awards. "But it's not officially announced yet. There's a bit more work to do on that yet, but you will not be disappointed, I can assure you."
During the ceremony itself, Eavis collected the award for Best Live Event.
