Glastonbury festival weather forecast: two days to go

There are just two more sleeps to go until the Glastonbury festival kicks off in earnest (June 26-28) – and the weather looks set to be mixed with some rain predicted.

According to weather forecasters Metcheck rain will fall on Worthy Farm on Friday (June 26), although Saturday (27) and Sunday (28) should be drier.

On Friday rain is expected to fall from around 1pm (BST) and get heavier at 4pm before lightening off. Temperatures should peak at 23 degrees Celsius.

On Saturday there could be light drizzle throughout the day and evening but no heavy rain is expected. Temperatures should peak at 26 degrees Celsius.

Sunday is expected to be rain free bar a tiny amount of drizzle in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to peak at 26 degrees Celsius again.

Meanwhile, bookie Boylesports.com has offered odds of a complete washout out of 16/1.
