Three fans at Glastonbury festival diagnosed with swine flu

Revellers sent home after being diagnosed with disease

Three people have been sent home from Glastonbury after being diagnosed with swine flu.

According to STV, one Edinburgh University student and a ten-year-old child were two of the three diagnosed.

Glastonbury organisers said there was no further risk to fans at the Somerset bash.

Officials explained that the three individuals were taken into isolation after being diagnosed before they headed home.

"This was anticipated," said Glastonbury spokesperson Christo Hird. "There is no more risk here than anywhere. The figure of three in 177,000 people is regarded as very low."
