Glastonbury has been voted Best Festival in the Shockwaves NME Awards once more.

Michael and Emily Eavis were triumphant last year in the category, and in 2009 won the Best Live Event gong.

They were announced as winners again tonight (February 23) at the ceremony at London's O2 Academy Brixton.

Michael Eavis accepted the award and thanked the voters, those who've helped put the festival on and the bands who've performed at his Worthy Farm event. "41 years and still winning best festival," he said. "Not bad going, eh?"

The Reading And Leeds Festivals, Download, T In The Park and V Festival were also nominated in the category.
