Actor and radio presenter Reggie Yates has said that he isn't bothered about making time to go and see Rastamouse – the kids' TV character he voices – play live at Glastonbury.

Rastamouse is making several appearances in the Kidz Field at the festival this weekend (June 24-26), but Yates has said today (25) that he won't be making the trek to watch the reggae-loving rodent rock out.

When asked if it was him who would be jumping inside the Rastamouse suit to perform he said: "Nah, I'm not inside the suit. I'm not gonna go and watch him, I've got work to do! I'm here for BBC3 so I'm on camera. I haven't got time for that! That's something I did a year ago, it's been on since... so yeah, I haven't got time."

Yates did say he had found time to see some other bands, mind. "I went to see Darwin Deez yesterday, I just saw P Money now at East Dance, which was great," he said. "Metronomy just did a set for the BBC which was wicked, I love that band."
