Bookmakers Ladbrokes have made Glasvegas slight favourites to hit the Number One slot in the UK Album Charts on Sunday (September 14) with their self-titled debut album, ahead of Metallica's new release 'Death Magnetic'.
The bookmaker puts 'Glasvegas' at 4/7, while 'Death Magnetic' is close behind at odds of 5/4 to hit the top spot.
The news comes despite the fact that Metallica's 'Death Magnetic' appeared in the UK two days earlier than planned.
Shops began selling the album from yesterday (September 10), despite the worldwide release being set for tomorrow (September 12).
This has led some to speculate that the band's camp may be worried about missing out on the top spot.
