Glasvegas frontman James Allan made a surprise appearance at The Raveonettes 10-year anniversary show, joining the group onstage in Copenhagan.

The 'Daddy's Gone' singer joined the duo at their gig on May 4, and took over lead vocals on 'Love Can Destroy Everything' – you can watch his performance by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking.

The Raveonettes played two special shows in their hometown of Copenhagen, Denmark to celebrate 10 years together. The duo performed 2002's debut album 'Whip It On' in its entirety, as well as a selection of songs from their other four studio albums.

The duo recently released a new EP, titled 'Into The Night'. The four track record is their first release since last year's critically acclaimed 'Raven In The Grave'.

Meanwhile, Glasvegas are currently holed up in a Glasgow studio, laying down demos for an album they hope to release later this year. There are also murmurings of a potential EP out soon, as the band begins talks with various record labels to release their new material – after they were dropped by Columbia Records last year.

Allan explained: "These new songs are starting to take on a life of their own. They've grown into wee monsters. We've got more than an album now, so an EP might be a good idea."
