Gnarls Barkley and Fall Out Boy discuss songwriting
The pair to let fans in on their secrets
Gnarls Barkley frontman Cee-Lo Green and Fall Out Boy vocalist Patrick Stump are to discuss the craft of songwriting.
The singers are to take part in a panel discussion called How I Wrote That Song at the Los Angeles Key Club on February 10.
The event, sponsored by BMI and the Los Angeles Times, is being held in conjunction with the Grammy Awards, which take place the following day at the Los Angeles Staples Center.
Among the panellists are songwriter Sean Garrett, who has penned hits for Usher and Ciara, and producer Dallas Austin, who has worked with notable artists including Aretha Franklin, Madonna and Gwen Stefani.
Attendees can expect an inside look at the creative process, featuring performances of hit songs by each panelist and a question-and-answer session on the business of songwriting and music.
The panel will be moderated by BMI Vice President Catherine Brewton and Los Angeles Times music critic Ann Powers.
