Gnarls Barkley have moved up the release date of their highly anticipated sophomore album to today (March 18).
'The Odd Couple' was originally slated for an April 8 US release, but the Danger Mouse/ Cee-Lo Green duo decided to release it a couple of weeks early.
"They felt the timing was right to just go for it," said a band spokesperson. "With the shifting seasons, furtive romantic entanglements and fierce college basketball rivalries, the latter half of March can be confusing. People need to be soothed and inspired now."
The band have also announced that they will perform at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on July 27.
