Golden Silvers: 'We're up for collaborations on the FLY53 NME Radar Tour 2009'

Golden Silvers singer Gwilym Gold has told NME.COM he's hoping to hook up musically with the other acts on the FLY53 NME Radar Tour 2009, which kicks off at Oxford O2 Academy this Saturday (September 26).

The frontman said he's keen to get to know Marina And The Diamonds, Local Natives and Yes, Giantess a little better on the 15-date UK tour.

"I'd definitely be up for collaborating," Gold told NME.COM, adding: "It'll be good to see how it all goes. I'm looking forward to meeting them all in the flesh actually! I think I'll see what everyone's like and how we feel about collaborating."

Gold also revealed that he's more excited than nervous about headlining the tour.

"Although we might be the headline band, it doesn't feel like its all about us. On a tour like this, it's quite good to be the underdog – supporting – because people are gonna be coming along really early to check everyone out. And I don't think it should be a competitive thing anyway. But saying that...headlining, that is kind of an exciting position to be in."
