GOLDFRAPP PULL FESTIVAL SHOWS

"Exhaustion" is cited as the reason...

Goldfrapp have pulled out of CREAMFIELDS.

The band were due to appear at Creamfields in Liverpool and also last weekend’s Pukkelpop festival in Belgium (August 21), but due to “exhaustion” the shows will not take place.

Alison Goldfrapp said: "We are very sorry to have to cancel the shows in Belgium and Liverpool. We've had a fantastic time touring the ’Black Cherry’ album for the last year and a half, but due to exhaustion the doctor has advised me to rest for at least four weeks.

"We'd like to thank everybody around the world who came to see us. I hope that I haven't disappointed too many people and I hope to make up for it next year."
