Alison Goldfrapp was forced to pull her band's Roskilde festival appearance yesterday (July 2) after she fell ill.
The band were due to appear onstage at 8.30pm, but had to cancel after Alison came down with throat problems.
The singer received medical attention but she was unable to go ahead with the show.
Writing on their official website, the band issued an apology over the cancellation.
The statement added: "Goldfrapp apologise for the late withdrawal from the Roskilde festival yesterday. This was due to Alison having a problem with her throat and despite attention from the doctor it was decided after much discussion that she could not perform. We would like to apologise to all the fans who were disappointed and can assure you every effort was made to avoid this situation. Thanks everyone."
Goldfrapp are due to appear to appear at T In The Park and Oxegen this weekend (July 8-9).
