GoodBooks begin work on debut album

GoodBooks are beginning work on their debut album following the finalisation of their deal with Columbia Records.

Writing on the band's online blog, frontman Max Cooke said: "So, last night we inked our names on a 43-page contract with Columbia Records, before drinking more than anyone should at any point in their lives."

The band are writing prolifically and are beginning recording of their debut album this summer. Cooke said: "We're writing like a Quick-Quotes Quill at the moment, preparing for the album sessions later in the summer, and can't wait to get back out and play the new songs."

Liverpool Korova (June 23)
Nottingham Rescue Rooms (June 24)
Wireless Festival (June 25)
London Madame Jojos (July 11)
