Gorillaz take live show to New York
The band take ‘Demon Days’ show to the Apollo
Gorillaz are to play a five-night residency at New York’s legendary Apollo Theatre, replicating the series of shows they played at the Manchester Opera House last November.
Performing last album ‘Demon Days’[b/] in its entirety, the cartoons will again be joined by [b]De La Soul, Roots Manuva, Neneh Cherry, Ike Turner, Shaun Ryder and The Pharcyde’s Bootie Brown when they play between April 2-6.
As previously reported, the band's Manchester show will be released as a DVD on March 27.
