Gorillaz members Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's circus show ’Monkey: Journey To The West’ is to be performed in the UK.
As previously reported, the production will feature music from Albarn and a visual setting designed by Hewlett.
The show will take place at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, and will feature Shaolin Monks and singers from the Peking Opera.
The circus will open the Manchester International Festival on June 28, 2007, and run for 12 performances.
