Gorillaz ready for four 'special' releases

Gorillaz are set to release the four special singles in the run-up to the end of the year.

The tracks will be the first ever audiobook singles, the first of which will be available to buy from December 4 via iTunes. The follow ups will be made available every subsequent Monday for the next three weeks.

The untitled releases will feature extracts from ’Rise Of The Ogre’ – the band’s autobiography - read by actor Joss Ackland and featuring interjection from the Gorillaz themselves.

As previously reported, Damon Albarn’s new band The Good, The Bad & The Queen are set to release their self-titled debut on January 22.

It will proceeded by the single ’Kingdom Of Doom’ on January 15.
