Gorillaz add Glasgow date to UK and Ireland tour – ticket details

Gorillaz have added a live date at the Glasgow SECC venue to their forthcoming UK and Ireland tour.

Damon Albarn's band will now kick off their gigs at the Scottish venue on September 8. They then play shows in Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, London and Dublin.

The musical guests set for the shows are yet to be announced, although at Gorillaz' recent London Roundhouse shows, the band featured ex-Clash men Mick Jones and Paul Simonon, plus guest contributions from the likes of Mos Def, De La Soul and Shaun Ryder.

Gorillaz will play:

Glasgow SECC (September 8)
Birmingham NIA (10)
Newcastle Metro Arena (11)
Manchester Evening News Arena (12)
London O2 Arena (14, 15)
Dublin O2 Arena (22)
