Gossip covered Tina Turner's 'What's Love Got To Do With It?' during their King Tut's Wah Wah Tent show at T In The Park today (July 11).

After dropping 'Standing In The Way Of Control' as a surprise opener, Beth Ditto joked with the crowd about the pints of beer that were being hurled towards the stage in appreciation.

"There's no place in the world like Scotland..." she said, "where else in the world does it mean 'I love you' when you throw beer?"

Following up with 'Four-Letter Word' and 'Eighth Wonder', Ditto asked the audience, "Are you drunk?" before answering herself "Yes, you are!" as they roared assent.

During the impassioned set, Ditto repeatedly sang snatches of Fleetwood Mac's 'The Chain', and segued from the beginning of Talking Heads 'Psycho Killer' into Listen Up!.

It was the band's cover of Turner's 1984 hit, though, that proved the surprise hit of the set, fans bawling along to the chorus as Ditto donned a pair of white sunglasses thrown onto the stage.

Gossip played:

'Standing In The Way Of Control'
'Four-Letter Word'

'Eyes Open'
'Pop Goes The World'
'Yr Mangled Heart'
'Men In Love'
'Love Long Distance'
