Graham Coxon to play UK’s biggest anti-racism festival Graham Coxon Tickets
The Buzzcocks and Sway also confirmed
Graham Coxon is to play the UK’s biggest anti-racism festival at London’s Finsbury Park.
The Buzzcocks, The Wailers, Sway and Roy Ayers have also been confirmed to perform at the free event, Rise: London United on July 8.
Organised by the Mayor Of London, Ken Livingstone, in partnership with the National Assembly Against Racism and TUC South East Region (SERTUC), he said: “Racism is a dead end and music is one of the most powerful ways of demonstrating that fact.
"The 'Rise: London United' will bring together people from every background to celebrate the diversity of the capital. This incredibly strong and broad line-up of artists will make a great free day out for all with a strong message that our city loves its diversity.”
Other artists will be announced over the coming weeks.
Latin American, urban, African and Asian music will feature on the other stages, as well as music and dance with roots in cultures from Turkey to Morocco.
