Graham Coxon has been announced as special guest for the Transgressive record label show at London's Union Chapel venue on Saturday (September 26).
The Blur guitarist will support headliner Johnny Flynn at the sold-out gig, at which Jeremy Warmsley, Mechanical Bride and Dan Michaelson & The Coastguards will also play.
The show is part of a series of gigs put on by the Transgressive label to mark its fifth anniversary. Young Knives will headline the London Heaven venue on Thursday (24) as part of the gig series, while Foals will headline the same venue on Friday (25).
Following the Foals gig, the Oxford band will play a DJ set at the Lexington venue for the official after-party, which has just been announced. See Transgressive.co.uk for more information.
Meanwhile The Rakes have been confirmed as special guests at The Young Knives' Transgressive show on October 24 at Heaven in London. The label's Tim Dellow put out the band's first single '22 Grand Job' in 2004.
