Blur guitarist Graham Coxon has been added to the bill for this summer's Live From Jodrell Bank event.

The event takes place at Cheshire's Jodrell Bank on June 23 and 24. Joddrell Bank is an observatory located 20 miles from Manchester which houses the third largest telescope in the world.

Coxon will open up for Paul Weller, who headlines on June 24, with Baxter Dury and Little Barrie also on the bill. Elbow will headline the opening day (June 23), with that day's supporting bill yet to be confirmed. As part of the event's ticket price, punters will be able to attend hands-on science workshops, lectures and experiments.

Coxon releases his latest solo album 'A+E' on April 2. The album, which is the eighth solo release of Coxon's career, contains 10 tracks in all. The album is the follow-up to his 2009 album 'The Spinning Top'.

Graham Coxon will tour in support of 'A+E' in April, playing 14 shows across the UK. These begin at Oxford's O2 Academy on April 13 and run until April 30 when Coxon will headline Falmouth's Princess Pavilions venue.

You can watch an interview with Coxon from last month's NME Awards by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.
