Grandaddy are to preview their eagerly awaited new album 'SUMDAY' at a low-key LONDON show later this month.
The Californians are to play the Bush Hall in west London on March 20. Tickets will be issued
to competition winners and invitees only. NME.COM will be giving tickets away, so pay close attention to the site this week!
The band, will precede 'Sumday', set for release in June, with a single, 'Now It's On', in May.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the album, the follow-up to 2000's 'The Sophtware Slump', will be a double, though not in the conventional sense.
Bassist Jim Fairchild said: "As some of you have heard, it will probably be two discs, but not really in a classic double album sense. It's more like one disc's got the tunes people might like to hear during the party, and the other's got the ones you might want to listen to once everyone's gone, dozing off. "
Other song titles include 'El Caminos In The West', 'I'm On Standby' and 'Off On Your Merry Way'.
