NME.COM users responded in their droves yesterday (March 6) after we challenged you to spot Green Day's appearance in the trailer for ’The Simpsons Movie’.

As previously reported the band were rumoured to feature in the trailer for the film, but their appearance would not be confirmed by the film's producers 20th Century Fox

However following our challenge to you hundreds of users emailed in with screen grabs having spotted the band 25 seconds before the end.
