Green Day to release 'Simpsons' song
They do version of the theme
Green Day are set to release their own version of theme tune.
As previously reported the band make an apperance in ’The Simpsons Movie’, which is out in July.
Three different companies in the US will release the group's rendition of the famous theme tune on July 24. Warner Bros. Records will put out the single in the US, Fox Music will make a digital score album available through foxmusic.com and Extreme Music will release 25,000 doughnut cases to US retailers.
The band recently performed their version of John Lennon’s ’Working Class Hero’ on the finale of ’American Idol’, reports Billboard.
