Green Day, Pink to perform at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards
They join Muse and Taylor Swift at Radio City in September

Green Day and Pink are set to perform at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, due to take place on September 13.
They join Muse and Taylor Swift on the list of performers, with further acts to be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.
Swift will sing her song ‘You Belong With Me’, while Muse will debut their single ‘Uprising’ at the ceremony which will return to Radio City Music Hall after stints over the past two years in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Russell Brand will host the event for the second year in a row.
