The album features 17 tracks recorded at 16 different locations on the band's 2009/10 world tour. It includes the little-played 'Who Wrote Holden Caulfield?' from the band's 1992 album 'Kerplunk' and 'Going To Pasalacqua' from their vinyl-only debut album, '39/Smooth'.

'Awesome As Fuck' is the band's second live album. Their first was 2005's 'Bullet In A Bible', which was recorded at the Milton Keynes Bowl earlier that year.
