The Green Day documentary ¡Quatro! will receive its world premiere at the Winter X Games,

The games start this weekend (January 26) in Aspen, Colorado, reports Rolling Stone.

The behind-the-scenes documentary, directed by Tim Lynch, looks at the process behind the band's '¡Uno!', '¡Dos!', '¡Tre!' album trilogy, as well as showing footage from their 2012 Stateside shows

Mike Dirnt, the band's bassist has previously said: "¡Quatro! brings our fans one step closer by giving them even more access and revealing what it was like for us to make these records."

Last year, Green Day cancelled all their scheduled live appearances up until early 2013, after frontman Billie Joe Armstrong checked into rehab.

The albums '¡Uno!', '¡Dos!' and '¡Tre!' are out now.

Green Day play London's Emirates Stadium - the huge 60,000 capacity venue commonly used by Arsenal Football Club - on June 1.
