Grimes has posted excerpts from her tour rider on Tumblr.

The rider stipulates that "everything is conducted in as green and eco-friendly a manner as possible backstage". Grimes requests that venues only provide crockery and cutlery that is "reusable and not disposable" and bans the use of "styrofoam, plastic or foil containers" to cover food. In addition, she asks for "local, organic food wherever possible".

The rider also contains a "special request from the artist", which reads as follows: "if possible, one cute bulldog, french bulldog, pug or pomeranian (or other cute animal, such as a chinchilla or a pekanese) to visit and hang out but who gets to leave before too much loud noise is heard so that he or she does hurt their ears. it is important that if said animal visits, they have a safe home to return to. lol."

Explaining why she decided to share her rider with fans, Grimes wrote: "i dunno if anyone cares about this stuff but im like obsessed with reading other peoples riders lol, so if ur anything like me perhaps this is of interest to you." She also promised to "post the rest of it later" once she has finished refining it. Click here for what Grimes has posted so far.

Grimes currently has three tour dates lined up and requiring a rider: Austin, Texas on October 12 followed by the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City on October 13 and a New Year's Eve performance in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Her third and most recent album 'Visions' came out in January 2012.
