Grizzly Bear: 'It's a surreal honour to be playing with an orchestra'

Grizzly Bear have told NME.COM they find it a "surreal honour" they are going to be collaborating with the London Symphony Orchestra later this year.

The band, who release new single 'While You Wait For the Others’ on August 31, explained that tickets for their Halloween Barbican show with the LSO sold out three months in advance, and now they are looking forward to teaming up with the classical musicians.

"We couldn't be more thrilled to perform with the LSO this fall," said Ed Droste. "It's been a dream of ours to collaborate with such a prestigious institution, and for it actually to happen is just really an honour, and incredibly surreal. We are really looking forward to getting back to the UK and playing not only this show, but the other ones lined up for this fall as well."

Meanwhile the 'While You Wait For the Others’ is the latest track to be taken from the band's current album 'Veckatimest', and will be released on seven-inch vinyl and as a download.
