London to get lunchtime festival

London is to witness the UK’s first lunch-hour festival today (July 20).

The Volvic Lunchbox bash will take place from 12pm in a location which will be revealed to those who email thevolviclunchbox@bisslancaster.com.

The event will be hosted by C4’s Alex Zane and curated by Tom Findlay of Groove Armada. There will also be special mystery live guest and performances from The Whisky Cats and Operahouse.

The event is to take place on what is predicted to be the UK’s hottest ever July day.

The event acts as a taster for the Volvic Lovebox Weekender, which takes place two days after Lunchbox on July 22/23 at Victoria Park in east London. Groove Armada and Jamiroquai headline.
