Super Furry Animals mainman unveils new single

Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys is to release a download-only single to coincide with his forthcoming UK and Irish solo tour.

‘Gyrru Gyrru Gyrru’, taken from his recently released second solo LP ‘Candylion’, is released as a download only single on March 12. It’s backed by a brand new song, ‘Y Cradur’.

Rhys kicks off his tour later this month.

As previously reported, Super Furry Animals are putting the finishing touches to their eighth studio album, the follow-up to 2005’s ‘Love Kraft’. It’s due out in the spring.
