a]Guns N’ Roses[/a] have announced US comeback shows.
Axl Rose's outfit will precede a European tour with shows in New York on May 14 and 17, at the Hammersmith Ballroom.
The band continue to work on ’Chinese Democracy’, their long-awaited follow up to 1993’s covers album ’The Spaghetti Incident?’.
According to rollingstone.com, 32 songs have been recorded, including 'Better','There Was a Time' and 'The Blues', but the album will only contain 13 tracks.
A release date for the album has yet to be announced.
The band will follow the US dates with a series of shows in Europe, beginning on May 27 in Lisbon in Portugal.
As previously reported by NME.COM the band are set to headline the Download 2006 festival at Donington Park on June 11.
