Axl and Co play festival gig

Guns N Roses are set to play Africa for the first time.

The band will play My Coke Festival 2007 with Hoobastank and Evanescence at Johannesburg's New Market Racecourse on April 27. They will also play Cape Town's Kenilworth Racecourse on May 1.

As previously reported, the next projected release date for 'Chinese Democracy' is March 6, according to an statement posted by singer Axl Rose on their Official Site

He wrote: "This is not a promise, a lie or a guarantee, but we do wish to announced a tenetative release date of March 6."

It will be the first album of original material since the release of 1991's 'Use Your Illusion 1' and 'Use Your Illusion II', reports Yahoo.
